Frequently Asked Questions

What type of pizza dough is best for this recipe?

I used store-bought frozen pizza dough. However, feel free to use fresh store-bought dough (usually available in the bakery section of your grocery store) or make your favorite homemade recipe. Either way, you’ll need about 16 ounces of dough.

What other sauces can I use for dipping?

While pizza sauce is traditional, you can mix things up with marinara, garlic butter, ranch dressing, or even a spicy aioli for dipping.

How do I ensure the center is fully cooked?

Make sure to evenly distribute the toppings so there aren’t overly thick sections. It’s also a good idea to preheat your oven and bake the Pizza Ring in the center rack for even cooking.

How do I store leftovers?

Store any leftover Pizza Ring slices in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three to four days. You can reheat slices in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about five to ten minutes, or until heated through.

Can I freeze the Pizza Ring?

Yes! Once your pizza ring has cooled down, slice it, wrap individual slices in plastic wrap, and store them in a freezer-safe bag for up to one month. Reheat directly from frozen at 375°F (190°C) until hot and crispy.
