Happy Monday! As I mentioned on Friday, I was able to sneak away this Saturday to do a bit of shopping to spruce up my home for fall. Thankfully, I had a lot of luck and found just what I needed (and a few unexpected things as well) at places like JoAnn Fabrics, Michaels, and HomeGoods. Some of my finds even inspired several new craft and DIY ideas which I’m really excited to make and share.
Speaking of HomeGoods, I thought I’d pop in and tell you about two of my most recent posts with them. I shared the posts a couple weeks ago, but I’ve resisted diving into fall here on IBC until we were a bit closer to September. However, now it seems the general consensus is that a little seasonal talk is OK, so I figured, “why not.”
So, grab your PSL (pumpkin spice latte) and let’s check out these Fall Home Decor Ideas.
Inspired by my eclectic fall coffee table, I decided to give a similar treatment to the bar cart in my dining room. As much as I love to shop for new accessories, I sometimes find that just a few small changes can have a big impact when it comes to punching up your decor for the new season. That’s why I like to find multiple uses for my seasonal accessories.
Not only is this post great for fall, but if you’ve yet to incorporate a bar cart into your home, this tutorial may be helpful for setting one up. In just five simple steps, you’ll be able to create a stylish and functional bar cart.
You can read all about that here.
For a number of years, Halloween was a forgotten holiday for me. It’s not that I don’t like the holiday. I do. It’s just that I was preoccupied with other things. When I ran my B&B and gift shop, by the end of October, I was already gearing up for Thanksgiving and Christmas. During the past couple years, I’ve been on the road around Halloween. While I’m not sure I’ll be home this year, I do hope to create a few tricks and treats.
When I’m thinking about Halloween decor, I like to come up with ideas that are just a bit creepy, but not gruesome or oozing with fake blood. in other words, I want to keep the chic in my spooky. This post includes a few of my favorite ideas from the past that are sure to add a frightful flair to your styling for All Hallows’ Eve.
Be sure to check out that post here.
That’s it for today, folks! Two fall home decor idea posts in one. I hope you enjoy both of them, and that they inspire you to embrace this new season.
