Lately, I’ve been having a blast experimenting with different shot recipes here on Inspired by Charm. It’s been so much fun and I’m always surprised at how just a couple of ingredients can recreate the classic or nostalgic flavors of some of my favorite foods. Two of my favorites are these Mini Beers (they are so cute) and these Gummy Bear Shots.

When I first heard about a cinnamon toast crunch shot, I KNEW I needed to add it to my list of ones to try. This was/is one of my favorite cereals and I couldn’t wait to see if that flavor could be recreated in a drink recipe.

To my surprise, this shot recipe is made of just two key ingredients. These ingredients pair perfectly together to create that Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal flavor many of us know and love.

Fireball whisky is the key player in this shot by providing a kick of spicy cinnamon flavor that is both warming and comforting.

And then it is RumChata that adds a creamy sweetness (kind of like cereal milk) to help balance out the heat, creating a well-rounded flavor profile that is both spicy and smooth.

It’s so good! This is a sweet cocktail recipe everyone will enjoy. In fact, I made this recipe when my mom was here helping me and she really enjoyed it too!

Ingredients

As I mentioned above, to create the perfect Cinnamon Toast Crunch Shot, you only NEED two ingredients. (I added a couple of extra ingredients for presentation purposes.) 

  • Fireball whisky – Provides the perfect kick of cinnamon flavor.
  • RumChata – A creamy and sweet liqueur that balances out the spice of the Fireball. 

If you want a fancy garnish, you’ll also need a handful of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, honey, and some whipped cream.

How To Make

This cinnamon toast crunch shot is so easy to make. I’m breaking it down for you below. For your convenience, I’ve also provided a full ingredient list and detailed instructions in the printable recipe card at the end of this post.

  1. Begin by adding some Cinnamon Toast Crunch to a small plastic bag. Use a rolling pin to smash the cereal into a fine crumb.

  1. Add a bit of honey to the side of a shot glass, then dip it into your crushed cereal. Set aside.
  2. Next, pour equal parts of Fireball whisky and RumChata cream liqueur into a shaker filled with ice. Shake until the ingredients are well combined and chilled.

  1. Pour the chilled mixture into the prepared shot glass and top it off with whipped cream. 

It doesn’t get much easier than that. All that’s left to do is cheers and enjoy.
