Ingredients

Every great potion – or in our case, shot – is crafted from some seriously special ingredients. Let’s delve into the magical trio that makes up this Vampire’s Kiss Halloween Shot:

  • Jägermeister: Hailing from Germany, this herbal liqueur boasts a blend of 56 diverse herbs and spices. Its rich depth and subtle sweetness make it the perfect base for this shot.
  • Peach Schnapps: A liqueur that’s as delightful as a sun-ripened peach. It offers a sweet and fruity aroma, giving our shot a playful and refreshing twist.
  • Cranberry Juice: Bright, tangy, and a little sweet – cranberry juice not only adds a vibrant hue but also a refreshing kick that ties the whole drink together.

You’re also going to need some vessels for serving. You can find the vials that I used HERE. However, there are lots of options available so feel free to shop around to find the best option for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this shot very strong?

The strength can vary depending on the proportions, but generally, the cranberry juice mellows out the alcoholic content of the Jägermeister and peach schnapps, creating a balanced flavor without being overly potent. I find it to be a crowd favorite.

I’m having a big Halloween party. Can this be made in batches?

Definitely! You can easily multiply the recipe to cater to larger crowds. Just make sure to maintain the ratio of ingredients to keep that perfect flavor balance.

Can I serve this shot in something other than vials or test tubes?

Absolutely! While the vials add to the Halloween theme, you can serve these shots in regular shot glasses or even small mason jars which give a rustic touch.

I’m not a fan of Jägermeister. What would be a good substitute?

If Jägermeister isn’t your cup of tea, you can try using an amaro, which is another herbal liqueur, or even black sambuca for a licorice flavor.
