Two Ingredient Lemontini

Some of you saw my celebratory Instagram / Facebook post, where I indulged in a martini after discovering that I lost two pounds.

With that, I decided I would share my quick and easy, no frills, favorite martini recipe! And it only takes two ingredients! Grab your cocktail shaker, cause we are making Lemontinis!

Here’s what you’ll need:

Absoult Lemon Vodka (since we are only using two ingredients, use a better vodka. I adore absolut)
Baily’s Sweet and Sour Mix

You’ll also need the following for mixing and serving
Cocktail shaker
Martini glass
Lemon (optional, for garnish)

Alright, let’s get shaking! First fill your shaker with ice.

Next, add your Baily’s Sweet & Sour Mix and Vodka.

I prefer to have my martini about 1/3 sour mix and 2/3 vodka. If you want a stronger ‘tini, cut back on the sweet and sour mix. If you want a sweeter ‘tini, and more sweet & sour mix.

If you want, you could also add a splash of Triple Sec (or Grand Marnier if you’re the fancy type) at this point. I don’t, because I usually don’t have it on hand and I like to keep things simple.

Now we shake, vigorously.

Once your hand and the shaker are freezing (about thirty good shakes) we are ready to pour!

Feel free to add a slice of lemon to make your lemontini extra special.

Then, grab a seat outside in the sunshine, turn on some tunes, sit back and enjoy!

Cheers friends!
