It’s summer and time for a light and refreshingly different cocktail. My suggestion: this delicious Strawberry Basil Martini.
I fell in love with fruit-infused liquors during my travels in the Caribbean, and when I returned home, I made a Strawberry Basil Infused Vodka that I told you about here. To take advantage of all that delightful fruity flavor, I decided to create this Strawberry Basil Martini.
What’s in a Strawberry Basil Martini?
In this Strawberry Basil Martini, the flavored vodka is the star of the show.
And the lemon juice and the St. Germain liqueur are extremely important supporting cast members. Together with a few fresh strawberries, basil, and simple syrup, they make a fresh, earthy, and quintessentially summer cocktail that is sure to get rave reviews.

This martini happens to be quite gorgeous. And It tastes as good as it looks.
I strongly recommend making your own fruit-infused vodka, but if you are pressed for time, you could substitute store-bought strawberry vodka.

Strawberry Basil Martini Recipe:

Strawberry Basil Martini
Ingredients
- 2 strawberries quartered
- 2 basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon simple syrup
- 1 tablespoon freshly-squeezed lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons St. Germain liqueur
- 1/2 cup Strawberry Basil Infused Vodka
- Ice
- Strawberry and basil leaf for garnish
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the strawberries, basil leaves, and simple syrup. Muddle together. Top with lemon juice, St. Germain, and strawberry vodka. Shake vigorously.
- Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a strawberry and basil leaf.
Ooops! Really the way you wrote it looks very good and probably tastes so. However, I will find out at the weekend because I was looking for something new, which I can serve to friends at our little party. The idea of basil is very original. I would not change even this strawberry here. Everything looks perfect. More such recipes, please!
