Hocus Pocus Broom Co. Free Printable
In some ways, this printable has been eight years in the making. And for that reason, I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you today.
Yes, as promised in my recent Fall Family Room Tour post, I created a printable of my Hocus Pocus Broom Co. chalkboard drawing.
Before we get to the printable, here’s a bit of its backstory. (Feel free to scroll down if you’re already familiar with how this design came about.)
Back in 2012, I owned a Bed & Breakfast. Inside the B&B, I had a small gift shop with a big wall I’d painted with chalkboard paint. Every season I drew a new design on the wall. One fall, I created and chalked this Hocus Pocus Broom Co. image. Since then it’s been among the most popular images on Inspired by Charm.
This year, as I planned what to hang above the mantel in my family room, I stumbled upon a chalkboard I’d purchased a year or so prior, That’s when I decided to bring the Hocus Pocus Broom Co. back to life! (You can see more of how it looks above my family room fireplace here. I shared a full tour of the space.)
With the image redrawn, I was able to get a crisp photo that was suitable for turning into a print, and that printable is what I’m sharing with you today.
Before you download the FREE printable (Details are below.), here are a few suggestions for printing.
Printing Recommendations:
You can use your own home printer to print out this design. If you do, I recommend a heavy paper such as card stock. Also, be sure to set your printer to the highest quality possible.
It might just be my printer, but I didn’t love the quality of what I printed. So I decided to use an online printing company called Mpix. I chose them because they offered a giclee print with a deep matte photographic finish.
Click the link HERE to be directed to the product I used. After uploading your image, under “Paper,” select “Deep Matte Photographic.”
I also found them to be super affordable. A 5×7-inch print was only $2.26 and the 8×10-inch was $5.09.
And with that, you’re ready to download! Just follow the instructions below:

So glad you decided to bring back the Hocus Pocus Broom Co.and to share it with us!! Very excited to add it to my Halloween decor. Thank you. 😊
Too bad that the Halloween decorations are the same as last year. I really was looking forward to your new decor and printable and other creative ideas.
What? I haven’t even decorated for this year yet. You’re looking at a blog post from last year, so of course it’s going to be from last year. It’s not even mid-September. I’m just taking my decor out.
Your Hocus Pocus Broom co. Print and chalkboard is the cutest thing ever!!!! I’m copying on a chalkboard the size you show on your mantle. You mentioned that you did a seasonal drawing on your chalkboard wall at your B and B. I would love if you shared the others with us as well, I bet I’m not the only one who would love to see others as well. Your blog is such a source of inspiration and creativity.
Thank you so much for the print Michael!! I’m so excited you shared it with us 🙂 LOVE it!!
This is so awesome – I am excited about framing it in my house. I did go to Mpix to upload and print as you suggested but it says it has to be jpeg image so I couldn’t print it through them. Just thought I should let you know for your blog post.
Thanks Michael
Poster size would be awesome!!! I’m not sure how to make that happen, but love the idea!!!
You might be able to size up to a poster size, but I can’t guarantee the quality of the image.
