As I said on Tuesday. this is clearly food week. That’s why I’m back with this delicious Valentine’s Day Cocktail: Sweetie Martini!
For those of you who swing by this page for DIY and home decor, have no fear, plenty of that is on the way. I’ve been at somewhat of a creative standstill (until today, my house has been a disaster), however food ideas are flowing freely. I think it may have something to do with my issues with emotional eating. Haha! Who knows. Anyway, moving on…
Sweetie Martini – Valentine’s Day Cocktail
Today I thought it would be fun to share a sweet and creamy cocktail for Valentine’s Day. (Oh, and if you’re looking for more sweet Valentine’s Day treat ideas, be sure to visit this post HERE.)
It’s somewhat inspired by a cake batter martini, but kissed with color to make it perfectly appropriate for the upcoming holiday.
Plus, I had these really cute heart sprinkles that I wanted to use on something.
The result is this creamy, sweet, and soft martini, similar to a melted milkshake. I was having a hard time coming up with a name (because of my creative standstill) so I asked my BFF.
Without hesitation, she said, “Sweetie Martini”. It was perfect! (Thanks, Krista.)

In love already and haven’t even tried it!!! You had me at Godiva! 🙂
Hello Michael,
I really want to make this drink this weekend. My local store doesn’t carry the Godiva white chocolate bit… any ideas on what I could use instead?
Thank you,
Andie
You should use any white chocolate liqueur, even creme de cacao. I assume they should have that.

I rarely every drink, but I really, REALLY want one of those! It’s gorgeous! Great links, thanks for taking the time to put them together.
Oh, that’s a lovely drink!
Hey there IBC!
Love this drink as I’m not a big fan of straight, hardcore martini’s yet love drinking pretty drinks and of course who doesn’t have “cute heart sprinkles” laying around the house that need to be used.
One of my favorite things you do is share links! It’s like a friend saying “hey check this out” and the best thing is they are always great things I would never would have found on my own.
BTW, I am leaving this because I read Grace’s State of a Blog and want you to know that even though
I don’t always post a comment, I always appreciate all the hard and thoughtful work you put into making my day better because of IBC.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you commenting! Thanks so much Holly!! Have a great weekend!! 🙂

Haha “Plus, I had these really cute heart sprinkles…” They sure are cute and that looks delicious! Pinning of course. xo
This is absolutely adorable — and I’m sure it tastes as good as it looks! Doesn’t hurt that pink is my favorite color. 😉 Looking forward to going through the links, too! I love Cheryl Strayed; Wild was amazing. I’ve had Tiny Beautiful Things on my wishlist for a while now!
