Okay, these might be my new favorite breakfast treat: french toast buns layered with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, bacon, and topped with maple syrup. It’s a match made in flavor heaven. I’m calling them French Toast Breakfast Sandwiches!

As a blogger, I get to work with a lot of brands that I truly love and that’s how this recipe transpired. I partnered with Dave’s Killer Bread (basically the only bread, bagels, and English muffins I buy) to share a recipe on Instagram. They wanted to feature their hamburger buns and this is the recipe I came up with.

I thought the sandwiches were going to be good, but I had no idea I would love them as much as I did. Calories aside, I could probably eat these sandwiches every day for breakfast and be a very happy man. Pair this with some cinnamon bites, a peach bellini, and maybe even a mixed berry coffee cake and you have a breakfast for the gods!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • If you’re looking for a breakfast that’s both sweet and savory, you’ll love this french toast breakfast sandwich.
  • The combination of crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, and melted cheese is a game-changer. The flavors blend together perfectly to create a satisfying and hearty meal that will keep you full throughout the morning.
  • The french toast adds a level of sweetness that balances out the saltiness of the bacon and cheese. And with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and a drizzle of maple syrup, you’ll get a burst of flavor that will leave you wanting more.
  • This recipe is easy to make and customizable. You can use thick bread instead of the buns, switch out the bacon for ham or sausage, add some veggies like spinach or tomato, and adjust the sweetness to your liking.
