It’s no secret that sangria is one of my go-to cocktails. I’ve created a variety of sangria recipes here on Inspired by Charm (You can find all of them here.). However, this Apple Cider Sangria I whipped up especially for fall has moved to the top with my favorites.
How to Make a Fall Apple Cider Sangria:
Coincidentally, I was at the liquor store last week and discovered a bottle of Apple Pie Vodka. I picked it up, thinking I could find a use for it down the road. It added an extra-special touch to this sangria. So after a little recipe research and testing, I came up with a delicious Apple Cider Sangria!
To really bring out the fall flavors and make this drink look special I added in apples, pears, grapes, and seasonal spices. This recipe makes a pretty big batch, but you can easily adjust the recipe for smaller gatherings.
However, if you can’t find apple pie vodka specifically, and apple flavored vodka will work just as nicely.
It’s an exquisite blend of crisp apple, spice, and everything nice! Okay, let me show you how to put this together.

Sounds pretty delicious, right? Trust me. It is! And it’s just the thing for your fall celebrations. I also love snacking on the fruit after it has had a chance to soak up all of that fall flavor. This is the kind of healthy snacking I could get used to! Haha.
I hope you enjoyed this recipe for Apple Cider Sangria! Give it a try and let me know what you think. Cheers!

What if you can’t find the ginger brandy? Can apple whiskey be used or plain brandy with 1/4 or 1/8 tap of ground ginger
could I use Chardonnay instead of Sav Blanc??
thank you for posting this!! i saw it on your fall tour pix and it just looks so awesome….i can’t wait to try it!
Hi just wondering if you’ve made this or something similar warm?
i have been mulling wine & cider (not necessarily together) for years – i don’t see why this recipe couldn’t be heated — you just don’t want to cook all of the alchohol out of it (i mean, what fun would that be?) i mull cider with a tablespoon of mulling spices in a tea ball for about an hour – if using those, you could probably use plain simple syrup instead of the cinammon syrup. i would put the fruit in just as you are serving it or it will cook down to mush….
I can’t seem to find Ginger Brandy. Could I use regular brandy?? I’m making this for the adults on Halloween! Can’t wait to try it!
Sounds delicious. It’s very fallish here. Time to try the recipe. My Pottery Barn did not have the jar dispenser. Pier One did, but not now. I buy a lot of stuff for school @ Big Lots. They did have a very similar container. Thanks for the recipe.
I made this for New Year’s, it was freaking awesome!! I was unable to find apple pie vodka, use caramel apple. It tasted just like an apple pie, from now on I will only indulge in apple pie by way of coctail only. I plan on making another batch and giving it to friends in mason jars for V-day
I just made this for a fall themed party, it was delicious!! nice and light, I would definitely make it again!! 🙂
Yay! Sounds like a fun party! I’m so glad the sangria was a hit!

Just wondering if anyone else tried it?
I’m looking for opinions…although it looks delicious…
does pottery barn still have the dispenser?
love that too
This looks so yummy. How many does it serve? Are you using the Cinnamon Sticks in each glass as a garnish or in the container of sangria to flavor it ahead of time? Thx
I’m not sure exactly how many it serves. I would say at least 24 glasses. The cinnamon sticks go into the mixture. Feel free to use more as a garnish.

This looks delicious but I’m a little confused. You say you used red wine but Sauvignon Blanc is white
Barb
Oops! Good catch Barb. That was I typo on my part. I have corrected the recipe. It should be WHITE wine. Thank you! 🙂

This looks freaking delicious. And the fact that I own that drink dispenser means I need to try it out. But not today because it’s like 90.
Haha. Good call. Or you can just drive up here. The whole jar is in the fridge (and there are no guests to bother us.) Haha.
