  1. My favorite go to recipe for fixing a quick snack is wrapping bacon around a water chestnut then dipping them in a mixture of soy sauce and brown sugar. Put in oven set on 400 until bacon is crisp. These are always a hit.

  2. My new summer favorite is Caprese Bites. Marinate fresh mini mozzarella balls for 30 minutes in Italian or balsamic dressing. Drain them, then put one on a cute decorative pick or skewer with a grape tomato and a fresh basil leaf. Yummy and light!

  3. Pour Pepper Jelly over Brie in an oven safe vessel and heat until cheese is just soft in a 350 degree oven, serve with crackers, apple and pear slices! Delicious, quick, easy…and always GONE!23

  4. I like to make a cheeseball that contains chopped dried beef, toasted pecan pieces, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced green onion and a splash of Worchestershire sauce. It’s delicious with Wheat Thins or Triscuits!

  5. my Mom used to make a pina colada fruit dip and i love it, too.
    all u need is:
1 (3.4 oz) pkg coconut cream pudding mix
    1 cup crushed pineapple, UN-drained
3/4 cup whipped topping like Cool Whip
    1 cup milk
In a mixing bowl, mix together the pudding mix, cool whip, and milk with a hand mixer for 2 minutes. Blend in the pineapple without stirring. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes; serve with fresh fruit.

  6. If I have the time, veggie lasagna! With ripe summer veggies, bechemel & tomato sauce, also mozzarella, ricotta. It always looks great and is so yummy.

  7. Chili/Cheese casserole cut in small squares……..YUMMY! Equal parts cheddar and jack shredded…put 1/2 in sprayed pan…….layer with diced chilis…….another layer of the cheese………cover all with eggs beaten with chili powder and bake.! Good served warm or room temp!

  8. My go-to is baked brie with brown sugar and walnuts. Looks and sounds fancy, but surprisingly simple and appropriate any time of day as an appetizer. I always get rave reviews!
