Ultimate Buffalo Chicken Sliders

If you’re like me, a fan of anything buffalo chicken, then you’re going to LOVE these buffalo chicken sliders. Why?

  1. They are super easy to make and they serve a crowd. You can whip these up in about 30 minutes and make 12 sliders. Love that.
  2. The flavor is on point. As I mentioned above, the combination of chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch, spices, and sweet rolls is just too good.
  3. Buffalo chicken is an appetizer staple. While it certainly depends on the event you’re hosting, I think having a buffalo chicken-inspired recipe on your menu is important, especially if it’s a sporting event party.

What Goes with Buffalo Sliders?

I can answer this question in two ways…

  1. Condiments: I recommend serving these with some sliced vegetables (celery, carrots, cucumbers, etc.) and a side of ranch dressing and/or blue cheese dressing. It’s such a great combo.
  2. More (Game Day) Appetizers: When I think about this recipe, my mind goes to a sporting event, game day party, etc. (Though, this recipe works for any get-together.) Frequently Asked Questions:

Let’s walk through a few questions you may have about these buffalo chicken sliders.

Which type of bun is best for these sliders?

King’s Hawaiian rolls are the best. Not only are they the perfect size, but I love the sweetness they add to this recipe.

What cheese is best for buffalo chicken sliders?

For the mix, I think shredded cheddar cheese works best. Being a blue cheese lover myself, you could sprinkle blue cheese on before adding the top buns for even more flavor.

How long do you put buffalo chicken sliders in the oven?

This recipe gets baked for 20-25 minutes.

Do I use shredded chicken for this slider recipe?

Yes, shredded chicken is best. If you’re looking to keep things easy, rotisserie chicken works great. Personally, I just used three large chicken breasts and roasted them in the oven.

  1. Could the chicken be prepared and in a crock pot on warm for a block party? We do a Halloween block party and I really want to make these. I thought I’d have the buns and have the chicken mix in a crock pot on warm. Then they can make their own and they stay warm. Thank you so much. They sound great!
