Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp

Yes, I’m sharing another strawberry rhubarb-based dessert. ‘Tis the season I suppose and this time it’s Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp! Last year I planted some rhubarb in my garden and this year it was finally big enough for me to be able to use it in a recipe. I couldn’t let it go to waste.

Strawberry and rhubarb will forever remind me of my childhood. In fact, the rhubarb that I planted was from my grandparents’ garden. I’m certain the plant is older than I am. Anytime I bake with rhubarb I think of my grandparents and all the delicious recipes my grandma used to make — especially her Strawberry Rhubarb Pie.

Speaking of rhubarb, If you have lots of it growing in your garden or are just looking for some new recipes to try, you’ve come to the right place. I have an entire blog post dedicated to all of my favorite rhubarb recipes. You can find that HERE.
