I don’t know about you, but this summer has been a busy one for me. I am thankful, though, because it has meant lots of fun times with my family and friends.

Whenever I head to someone’s house, I always like to bring something with me. Whether it is a big pitcher of sangria, a tray of cupcakes, or another yummy treat, I try not to show up empty-handed.

Although I tend to rely on a few standard recipes, I always keep an eye out for something new. Any recipe that is delicious, easy, and affordable is a winner in my book! If it involves cheese, so much the better!

How To Make a Buffalo Cheese Ball:

I’ve found that cheese balls are always popular at parties. They are a tasty snack, and you can get really creative with the ingredients. Since I’m also a big fan of buffalo chicken, I knew that combining the two would be a match made in heaven.

    Meatballs:

Use frozen or make your own, frozen are great. Dump into a crock pot.
On stovetop over low heat, put 1 1/2 cups grape jelly, and 1/2 cup yellow mustard. Let simmer until smooth, can assist with a spatula, pressing down.
Pour the glaze over the meatballs! DELICIOUS and easy, can do ahead. Don’t have to use crockpot can do on stovetop. Experiment I have also used cranberry sauce with sweet chili sauce, or other flavors of jelly, basically a sweet and tangy sauce.

My favorite thing to make for a party is kind of similar to yours, but it is buffalo chicken dip, made in a crockpot. It always goes over amazingly and I get to keep the leftovers (if there are any!).

    Peanut Butter Popcorn
1 big bowl of popped popcorn (“old maids”/unpopped kernels removed)
    1 cup light corn syrup
    1 cup white sugar
    1 cup peanut butter
    1 tsp vanilla
    salt to taste
In a small saucepan dissolve sugar in corn syrup over high heat. Remove from heat and add peanut butter and vanilla. Stir until incorporated and pour over popcorn. Stir the popcorn until well coated adding salt as necessary. Spread on wax paper in chucks to cool.
I love this recipe because it’s super simple to remember and to make. Even people who aren’t peanut butter fans like it because the peanut butter flavor is not strong and it’s kind of caramel-y.
