Hello everyone! I’m back with another exciting addition of Very Pinteresting! As promised, I’m not posting about food this time.
That’s to everyone’s suggestions of topics for this week. With spring on the horizon I was inspired by Amy’s comment to share some beautiful porches!
Thanks Amy!
I am MORE than ready for spring. These ideas have me itching to get outside and brighten up my lack luster winterized porches!
I honestly love every detail about this porch! Just beautiful.
This color scheme creates a perfect summer porch! I’ve always wanted a porch with a fan.

And who wouldn’t want this outdoor sofa on their porch. This amazing piece was created out of old pallets from the always creative Funky Junk Interiors! This is the best use of pallets I’ve ever seen!

What goes with a pallet sofa? A pallet table! This one is multifunctional with a built-in trench for planting flowers.
One of my favorite porches from The Lettered Cottage. Love the DIY Mirror on the vintage shutters. The DIY coffee table is to die for! So creative!

This little guy is on my porch!
This was a pitnerest inspired creation I made last year. It’s an old food mill turned planter! Love it!

This porch is just dreamy and huge!! The gray and yellow is beautiful, and I just love the wood ceiling!

A lovely indoor country inspired porch. Those green chairs are fierce. I also love the black screen door.

Wouldn’t this sign look perfect on the porch above? This gorgeous work of art was created by the uber talented Jen from Onion Grove Mercantile. Best sign painter in America!

And last but not least, this picture is a bit more fun that practical. The thought of sleeping on a porch with a quilt under the stars sounds like a dream to me.
Those are some pretty porches, right?
Thanks to those of you that submitted your ideas for this week’s Very Pinteresting! It’s an honor to feature you. Feel free to post more of you ideas in the comments below.
Next week’s Very Pinteresting will be ‘For the Love of Yellow’. I have fallen head over hells for the color yellow lately. I already starting putting together a beautiful collection of goodies to share.
If you have been inspired by the color yellow recently and would like to submit your yellow creations for next week’s Very Pinteresting, please email me at ibcsubmission@yahoo.com I would much rather pin your creations than something from Better Homes and Gardens or HGTV. Your submissions are important! Thanks.
So, what fun ideas do you have planned for your porch this year?
Ready for Spring,

I love this edition of Very Pinteresting! I have one of those Florida screened in porches. You know the kind – aluminum and screen! I have been racking my brain on how to make it more cozy and less aluminumy (like that word?) I love the inspiration from the Lettered Cottage – it made me think that mosquito netting around the entire room would really soften it up and would be easy on the budget.
Now I’m super excited for Spring. Bring it on! I love the porch at 401 Wherever-It-Is at the top. Lovely and welcoming.
Very nice quilts…..hand made by you? They look amazing.
My favorite is your food mill planter. Love it!
I so wish I had a front porch! Most Arizona homes don’t have porches, but I dream of having one someday that I can make this pretty!
Hi- first time commenting here! I found your blog recently and love it- so many great ideas, it’s just lovely!
Love all the porch inspiration! The first picture is so happy with the geraniums. The porch beds are gorgeous (I think it’s from the Pottery Barn catalog, I have the providence quilt pictured in the front and my mom has the lights hanging in the dining room- love seeing something we see everyday used in such a different way!)
Thanks for the shout out Michael and my porch suggestion! I loved all of them but that daybed porch, so fab. How dreamy to sleep outside!
I cannot wait for the yellow pinteresting post – such a good theme for spring fever!
Great examples…wow!
Oh, I love a colorful porch!! I’m feeling very inspired and ready for Spring!!
I love the porch inspiration! Having just moved, we have a canvas that is extremely blank. We don’t have much of a front porch, but we do have a screened in porch and a patio. I’m so ready to work on them now! Thanks for sharing the ideas!
People don’t really live like that, do they?? Geez…my front porch is total crap by comparison! lol
There I am! There I am! Thanks for featuring my sofa!
Awesome lineup… I think I need to work a little more on my own porch… great time of year to bring this on!

Hi Michael,
A number of years ago I painted a letter lying on my porch, just by the steps, with a wee bit of a shadow around it. Fooled a number of people and looked really whimsical. Just an idea for your porch.
