In a post earlier today, I talked about my recent visit to a Farmer’s Market in Vista, California and shared my recipe for Sparkling Mint Lemonade. As promised, I’m back with some goodies for you including details on a recipe card printable and giveaway.
For the event, I thought it would be fun to have something to giveaweay to the visitors and folks that participated in the demonstration. I thought the idea of having a recipe card would be both beautiful and practical. This way, visitors could easily recreate the recipe at home with a recipe card in hand.
Naturally, because I couldn’t stop there, I took things a little further and had some blank recipe cards printed as well. (Coordinating recipe cards for the win!) It’s always nice to have some blank recipe cards on hand. Then, to incorporate the idea of planting, I added in a couple dozen pineapple mint seeds. Not only is it my favorite mint, but it worked really nicely with the Sparkling Mint Lemonade recipe.
To bring it all together, everything was tucked into a glassine envelope along with my business card. I sealed it with some metallic gold washi tape and popped a coordinating sticker on the front.
Too cute, right?
So, now you’re probably thinking, “Well, this is nice Michael, but we weren’t there, so how in the heck does this benefit us?”
Well, I’m glad you asked. First, I think it’s a really cute idea. Whether you’re hosting a baby/bridal shower, birthday party, or just dining al fresco, it’s a creative way to share a recipe and unique little takeaway with your guests.
Secondly, I have about 25 of these little packets leftover and I want to give them away to you! Who doesn’t love a giveaway? We will get to that in a second.
Finally, I’ve decide to make the blank recipe cards available as a free downloadable printable. (This post is just full of awesomeness.) However, there’s one little catch. You need to be subscribed to the IBC Mailing List to get the link to the printable. That’s fair, right?
It’s really easy to join. You can click here, click the image below, or use one of the mailing list boxes found on the site. They all work the same way. You will have until Friday, May 20th at 9am EST to sign up. The email will go out shortly after that. If you’re already part of the mailing list, no worries. You’ll be getting the link too.
What happens if you’re reading this after Friday, May 20th at 9am EST? Well, you’re in luck too! If you join the IBC mailing list, you’ll get a welcome email with a link to the free printable. This way, no one misses out.
I’m really hoping that you all like these cards. If so, I may considering having new recipe cards created for each season to share with you. Wouldn’t that be exciting?
Okay, I think I’ve babbled on enough. Let’s circle back to that giveaway.
