I don’t know about you, but this summer has been a busy one for me. I am thankful, though, because it has meant lots of fun times with my family and friends.

Whenever I head to someone’s house, I always like to bring something with me. Whether it is a big pitcher of sangria, a tray of cupcakes, or another yummy treat, I try not to show up empty-handed.

Although I tend to rely on a few standard recipes, I always keep an eye out for something new. Any recipe that is delicious, easy, and affordable is a winner in my book! If it involves cheese, so much the better!

How To Make a Buffalo Cheese Ball:

I’ve found that cheese balls are always popular at parties. They are a tasty snack, and you can get really creative with the ingredients. Since I’m also a big fan of buffalo chicken, I knew that combining the two would be a match made in heaven.

My favorite go-to party recipe is one that I got from my sister-in-law. It’s a platter with a block of cream cheese on it, covered over by pimento pomegranate jelly, with crackers to spread it onto.

I have a favorite appetizer that usually wows party attendants. Green grapes, rolled into a layer of a blue cheese mixed with cream cheese and port, then rolled in chopped pistachios. So unexpected!

my go to party recipe is sweet n sour kielbasa. cook the kielbasa by boiling it. let it cool and take off the skin. then this is the weird part, but i swear it’s delicious.

Get a jar of Heinz (or store brand) Chili Sauce and mix it with equal parts Grape Jelly. Put it all in a pot (or crock pot) and let the sauces blend. Keep warm and serve.

Again, it sounds odd, but trust me.

Feel free to add more grape jelly if you want it sweeter or more chili sauce for sour.

I love to serve or bring Reuben dip. If I am entertaining at home I use the crockpot, if I am bringing it to someone’s house I put it in a microwavable pie plate so I can last some heat into it when I get there. I always serve with those mini pumpernickle or rye bread slices.
