This is sort of a special day since it’s my Holiday Home Tour! It’s always a fun post to create because I get to walk you through my home and show you what my Christmas Home Decor.
It’s Day 4 of the 12 Days of Christmas! Welcome back, everyone.
For this particular tour, I’m joining up with The White Buffalo Stylin’ Co.’s Blogger Stylin’ Home Tours. Today marks the final day of this tour. If you’d like, you can click here to start from the beginning to see all of the bloggers’ homes and their Christmas home decor. There are over 30 bloggers participating! The previous stop on the tour was the uber-talented Craftberry Bush. If you’re joining from there, welcome! If you missed her post, be sure to click back and check it out here.
Per usual, I’m going to let the pictures do most of the talking and chime in a bit here and there. Let’s go!
Christmas Home Decor – Living Room
Yesterday I shared my tutorial for the wood stockings on my mantel, so let’s start in the living room.
This year I decided to limit my colors in each space of my home. In the living room I’m using teal, green, and black.
I also love decorating with glass ornaments. HomeGoods is one of my go-to places for finding great ornaments at the best prices. These bottle brush trees from Target couldn’t have worked out better for this space.
If you’ve been on any of my other home tours, you’ll notice I picked up new poufs. I wanted to pull some of the yellow out of this room and add a bit of cozy texture for the winter. I also found some new pillows at HomeGoods.
And yes, my marshmallow wreath lives on. I had to replace a few marshmallows, but other than that, it’s in great shape. It’s still one of my favorite Christmas home decor items!
Christmas Home Decor – Office
Over in the office, red and pink were my colors of choice. They nicely matched my filing cabinets.
You’ll also notice a big change in this space. I swapped out my workbench for a small table. I’ll talk more about my decision in another post, but I’m loving the change. (I do have different chairs coming for this table, however, they were delayed, so I’m making do for now. Ha! A blogger’s gotta do what a blogger’s gotta do.)
I “need” to have more than one tree in my house, so I dressed this one up with with ornaments in a gradient from red to pink.
Near my pink dresser is the new Elf print from Lindsay Letters. You all know Lindsay, right? She has the best prints, canvas artwork, and other fun accessories! She’s the bomb. I actually have a few more of her pieces upstairs. I’ll be showing you those next week.
Christmas Home Decor – Entryway
In the foyer, I have Christmas tree #3. This one’s real, and I decorated it with these tiny glass balls in every color. Then, I added on some falling cat ornaments because they may be the best ornaments ever. Also, who doesn’t want cats falling from their tree?
Oh, I should also mention that I painted my entryway. Again! I wasn’t feeling the gray so it had to go. More on that in a later post.
And there’s another Elf print! Son of a nutcracker!
Some DIY Cookie Cutter Wreaths dress up my sliding barn doors.
They were so fun and easy to create. You can learn how to make them here. I think they would make such a cute gift. Don’t you?
You already had a sneak peek in my dining room Christmas home decor earlier this week when I shared my Gold and Green Tree. (You can see more of this tree here.) Now it’s time for a closer look.
Christmas Home Decor – Dining Room
I continued the gold and green color scheme throughout the space.
Those chairs at the end of my table (a steal from HomeGoods a few years ago.) Look great next to the tree topped with a fur pillow. (Another HomeGoods find!)
I put together a super simple centerpiece using a variety of trees. Lots of bottle brush trees, plus, one of my favorite Christmas crafts – the colorful wooden trees I created a few years back.
Pretty packages tied up with strings.
Last, but not least, is the kitchen. I haven’t done too much in this space, yet. A few little touches here and there certainly do make it feel more festive.
Christmas Home Decor – Kitchen
As I mentioned, I’ll give you a quick look around upstairs sometime next week. There are lots of fun new things to show you up there.
And that concludes my 2015 Holiday Home Tour! I hope you enjoyed seeing my abode and maybe even picked up an idea or two.
Next up on the Blogger Stylin’ Home Tours is withHeart. She’s created such a magical and festive space, so be sure to check it out and continue along with the tour there.
And that wraps up another day of the 12 Days of Christmas! I hope you enjoyed seeing all of my Christmas home decor! Tomorrow I’ll be sharing a delicious holiday punch that you can make in a few minutes. See you here.
Michael, your tour is always one of my favorites. You never disappoint! It’s just so so beautiful. I have to keep scrolling up and down over and over again. Happy Holidays.
michael, this is such a happy tour! i love it! the dining room is so festive and i love how the colors play with the walls. my favorite by far is the living room and that amazing mantle! i am in love! i actually have a bunch of vintage bottle brush trees on my mantle and i planned to bleach them and fade them and dye them…. so they would be minty and aqua and pretty. well wouldn’t you know that vintage bottle brush doesn’t bleach very well. i soaked and waited and nothing happened! so i will just soak in the beauty of yours! 🙂

Hey Michael -Love the marshmallow wreath! Did you do a DIY post on that? I did a search and couldn’t find it. I might need to make one of those for my kitchen this year! Thank you.
Tanya,
I didn’t. That was a late night project. You need a white foam wreath from, toothpicks, and marshmallows. Insert the toothpicks, then the marshmallows. That’s about it. I did use some hot glue as some of the marshmallows didn’t want to stick. It’s about three years old now. Each year I have to replace a few marshmallows. I can’t believe how well it’s held up. Hope that helps.
xo Michael
Thanks Michael! Late night projects are the best. 🙂 BTW, I still miss your gift shop! Merry Christmas!

You have no idea how many holiday home tours I’ve read this season, but yours is by far my favorite. So fresh and clean and still festive and “decorated”! Kudos.
Love everything about your home tour! I do want to tell you a little funny about the “Noel” letters. We had a set that looked exactly like yours in our home while growing up. My grandparents always came for Christmas Dinner and after the left, the letters were always changed to read “Leon”. My jokester Grandpa! Good memories! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home tour.
I’m moving in! Love it!!
This is just breathtaking, Michael. I think I would like to come spend Christmas with you in this gorgeous place! Every detail is so beautifully executed and your photography is crisp and stunning. So exquisitely done, my friend!

Michael…I am just smitten with every ounce of your home. I always love your projects and spaces, but you really knocked it out of the park this year. You should be so very proud of all of your projects over the last 2 weeks – I have enjoyed every single one – but man, this holiday home tour is just perfection.
How do you do it? How do you manage to make every one of your rooms look so good?
I love that your home is so different than all the other blogs included in thees tours- So much color and life!!! A beautiful inspiration, no doubt.
LOVE YOUR HOME! I was up until 1am last night looking through everything and making plans to spruce up our corner of the world! Can you tell me where you purchased the rug for the living room and the chevron rug in the dining room. Thank you!
You got it goin’ on, like I like to say. Your home is beautiful and charming. So welcoming too.
This is awesome! LOVING the mirror and greenery over your fireplace. <3

Hi Michael! I know it’s July but I’ve been thinking about making another marshmallow wreath this christmas time. Last time I made it, the marshmallows on the bottom of the wreath kept falling off no matter how much glue I used. I wondered if you had any tips on how to fight gravity?? Thank you!
I used a combination of toothpicks and glue on the foam form. Pack them tight and once they harden you can add a touch more glue if need. Hope that helps!
