These easy Maple Dijon Sausage Bites are made with smoked sausage coated in a sweet and savory maple mustard glaze. Serve them warm for a simple fall appetizer, game day snack, or holiday party recipe that comes together quickly and is easy to share.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Cut the sausage into approximately one-inch pieces. Arrange the pieces in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, rosemary, garlic powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
Pour about two-thirds of the maple Dijon glaze over the sausage and toss until the pieces are evenly coated.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven and stir the sausage. Drizzle the remaining glaze over the top and toss again to coat.
Return the pan to the oven and bake for another 8 to 10 minutes, or until the sausage is heated through and the glaze thickens and becomes glossy.
Transfer the sausage bites to a serving dish and spoon any extra glaze from the pan over the top. Garnish with a little chopped fresh rosemary and serve warm with toothpicks.
