To a rocks glass filled with ice, add the lemon juice, bourbon, and sage simple syrup.
Stir with a spoon to combine.
Garnish with half of a lemon slice and sage leaves.
You can get my recipe for basic simple syrup HERE.To infuse the sage, simply add 10 sage leaves to the simple syrup as soon as you turn off the heat. Let the sage leaves steep for 10 minutes, then remove from the syrup. Allow the syrup to cool before preparing your cocktail.
