16 ounces cream cheese softened
1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
1 box (15.25 ounces) funfetti cake mix*
1 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup rainbow sprinkles divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2-4 drops almond extract
Vanilla wafers and shortbread cookies for serving

Instructions

In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
Add the cake mix, confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract, and 1/4 cup of extra sprinkles.
Once everything is incorporated, transfer the mixture to a sheet of plastic wrap. As you wrap it, shape it into a ball. Then, place the cheeseball in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours so it can firm up.
Before serving, roll the ball in a bowl filled with sprinkles.
After that, your Birthday Cake Cheese Ball is ready to be served. I chose vanilla wafers and shortbread for serving, but feel free to use whatever cookies you like best.
