1whole cantaloupe
4-5ouncesprosciutto
balsamic glaze or honey
basil to garnish
Instructions
Begin by cutting the cantaloupe. Cut in half, remove the seeds with a spoon, slice it into wedges, then remove the outer peel.
Cut each piece of cantaloupe in half, then wrap each half with a piece of prosciutto*. Place on a serving platter.
Serve immediately or wrap with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Optional: Just before serving, drizzle with a balsamic glaze or honey.
Notes
Depending on the size of your melon and prosciutto, you may want to cut the prosciutto in half to get a nicer fit around your melon piece.
