Begin by filling a spice bag with your mulling spices.
To a 4-quart Dutch oven (or heavy-bottom saucepan), add the apple cider, pear hard cider, caramel syrup, bagged mulling spices, and two cinnamon sticks. Stir to combine. Cover and simmer for an hour.
Remove the bagged mulling spices and discard them.
Before serving, stir in the pear liqueur and toss in several pear slices. Serve immediately or keep covered and set on low heat.
