Happy 4th of July! Can you even believe we are already a week into July? If someone can figure out why summer goes so fast and winter goes so slowly and then reverse the two, we’d be best friends for life – seriously!
I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend. I certainly did. As I mentioned on IBC many times, my dad started a tradition of having an annual 4th of July pool party several years ago and it’s literally been the best. It’s all the things I love about summer wrapped up into one day: ridiculous amounts off food, beer (and usually jello-shots and alcohol soaked gummy bears as well), pool time, card playing, so much laughter, and best of all, the memorable times with family. I really hope you had much of the same.
The past week or so has been a bit of a whirlwind for me so it was really nice to sign off, breathe, and enjoy. Now it’s time to get back to work, but before I do that, I thought I would procrastinate just a bit more in order to take the time to catch you up on a few things…
You may have already noticed, but in case you haven’t, I updated the navigation bar to include two new pages to the blog.
First, there is a tab for “Series.” On this page you will be able to find all of the series that are currently running on IBC plus a few favorites from the past. As you can see, this includes things like A Year of the Skillet, Fall Cookie Week, and 12 Days of Christmas.
The second new page is “Shop.” I’ve been waiting to create this page since I relaunched the site. I’m so glad it’s finally here. It’s a curated collection of some of my favorite finds around the web. Over the years I’ve curated collections for Lowe’s, Joss and Main, BHG, and more. It’s nice to finally have my own little collection here on IBC. The goal is to keep this page continually updated so be sure to check back often.
In other news, I’ve been busy creating many new collections and guides on eBay. There’s everything from Simple Summer Decor Ideas to Tropical Party Supplies. I’m sharing some of my Must-Make Summer Treats and giving Quick Tips to Freshen Up Your Home. Lots of good stuff! You can check it all out (and follow along) here.
Finally, be sure to swing by the Shari’s Berries blog and check out my latest post. I’m sharing my go-to lemonade recipe plus three delicious twists for added flavor and fun! You’re going to love them!
That’s all I have for you today. Have a fabulous week, friends!
P.S. There’s more exciting news here – just in case you missed it.
