Did you know that Target is introducing a new home decor line? On April 8 the new Opalhouse Home Collection will be available in stores and online. Yesterday Target opened up the online store for previews. Even though I couldn’t order anything just yet, I thoroughly enjoyed looking through the collection to see what all the excitement is about.

Opalhouse is a globally inspired collection featuring everything from furniture to decorative accessories. The collection is full of pattern, texture, and rich colors. I would say it has a bit of an Anthropologie/Urban Outfitters vibe but at a much better price point. Being a fan of an eclectic style, I like that the collection offers a lot of unique pieces that will add a touch of quirkiness to any space.

Normally, I don’t share this type of post on IBC, but I thought it’d be fun to give you a peek at a few of my favorites from Target’s new Opalhouse Home Collection.

Absolutely love it! I’ve been redoing our master for a while, but couldn’t find the nightstands I wanted for a price I could afford. Problem solved. Now I’m super excited to see it in the store!

Thanks for calling my attention to this new collection! I am obsessed with the pineapple lamp that they have coming out, definitely going to get that on 4/8. I actually also like their peel and stick (removable) wallpaper…have you had any experience with that before? Seems more approachable and easier to do than traditional wallpaper.

Love the lumbar pillows in the collection! Could you please give sources on the two blue pillows in the photo for this blog entry? One pillow says hello and the other is a blueprint-thanks so much

The patterned pillow was from HomeGoods and the “hello” pillow was from The Land of Nod. That was several years ago, so I’m not sure if they are available.

      xo Michael
