Yep, it’s after november 1st so christmas is in full swing… around here at least.
Last year after christmas, I picked up a brand new 4 foot tall pink christmas tree for around $10. i mean come on, who could resist? Over the past year i’ve been thinking about where to put it and how to decorate it.
Well, I made a few decisions. First, I want to make every decoration/ornament for the tree. This includes the garland, ornaments, tree topper and skirt. Now, this doesn’t have to happen all within the next two months. I’m perfectly happy to piece it together over a couple years. Second, I wanted to use vintage sheets as my theme. Perfect!
Yesterday i got started on the first round of ornaments. I have about 15 or so that are about 80% finished so I can’t share them with you quite yet. But soon.
In the meantime, thanks to the search feature on pinterest, I thought I’d share some other holiday decorations, inspired by pink! enjoy!

I have posted a few of my favourite Christmas pins on my Christmas blog so please pop by if you have 5 minutes. I also host a weekly Pinterest linky party at my main blog and I would be so honoured if you could link up this post. It is just fabulous!
Best wishes and happy pinning!

I am so curious to see what you did with the ornaments and the vintage sheets! I am pretty traditional with Christmas colors – cherry red and lime green. But I can certainly appreciate the beauty when other people are more daring!
Oh my goodness, this is going to be amazing! I got a 7 ft. silver tree after the holidays last year and I’m still stumped on how to decorate it to blend with my house. Any ideas?
Pink is the only color…. I love your tree. Matches much of where I live. Remember even the doors on my house are pink. Ah yes pink in every room. Love it!
I start planning my trees early, too. I would love to have a pink theme…but the hubster has forbidden it! Can’t wait to see how your finished product turns out!
Gorgeous inspiration but too pink for me! Our main tree is pretty traditional; our dining room tree is black and all the decorations are in golds and autumn shades. New extension hopefully done in time to add tree 3 which will be country style…….
Looking forward to seeing your decorations.
Ooooooh, I love all of your inspiration photos!! My holiday color of choice is aqua, but I use pink in my daughter’s room and LOVE it! Can’t wait to see yours 🙂
I love pink, OMG PINK! you have me thinking PINK!
Now you have me thinking……………….a pale pink and pale blue Christmas!!
{hugs & blessings}
I saw all of your pink Christmas pins on Pinterest and LOVED them. Such fun, and there are so many ways to decorate! My decor this year will be inspired by Whoville…so lots of bright greens, pinks, reds, turquoise, and yellows!

I was looking at a white tree myself. I am not bold enough to carry the look of a pink tree right now. Maybe a few years down the road.
How fun and festive. I can’t wrap my head around the fact that Thanksgiving and Christmas are almost here!!
