Well, the days of holiday gifting are upon us. I don’t know about you, but I still have a few more gifts to pick up, and then the wrapping can commence. No matter how much I plan, each year I always seem to struggle to find just-the-right gift for a couple people on my list.
As you know from past posts, Lowe’s is a great go-to place for DIY. They have put together some fabulous gift guides for this holiday season and even asked me to help with one for gardeners. Since planting flowers and creating indoor gardens is something I enjoy, today I’d like to share a few gift ideas for the gardener in your life.
First off, one of my favorite projects on IBC – this succulent garden bowl. Using just a few things, you can make your own in no time.
In fact, I recently helped my sister-in-law create three of these to give as gifts to her family.
If you like that indoor garden project, check out my Tabletop Cactus Garden. I made it almost two years ago, and it is still thriving. This is so quick and easy to put together and is perfect for folks who don’t have a green thumb. All the cactus garden needs is a sunny window and a splash of water ever few weeks.
If you’re feeling extra handy, why not build a wall planter. Made with boards, metal screen, and lots of soil, this garden filled with hens and chicks is a fun and unique conversation piece as well. Once planted, it comes back every year. Talk about a gift that keeps on giving.
What do you think? Are you inspired? For even more gift ideas for the gardener in your life, be sure to check out this collection of products I rounded up. With everything from a gorgeous pagoda to details like a kitschy pink flamingo. It’s a one-stop shop for the garden lovers in your life.
This post was created as part of my collaboration with Lowes. As always, all of the opinions, thoughts, and ideas in this post are my own.
