friday the thirteenth

last night i bought some cuties. i ate about six or seven at once. they really are magically easy to peel, and quite delicious!

folded quilt
i also finished my quilt last night! it’s beautiful. i’ll show you the full thing next week sometime.

it snowed
there was snow on the gourd this morning. i have yet to figure out why it always snows at night. it’s one of my least favorite things to see in the morning. needless today i’m really enjoying this mild winter.

mini cinnamon rolls
i made little mini cinnamon rolls for breakfast this morning. quick, easy and delicious! here’s the recipe.

some lovely fabric arrived in the mail today too. i’ve been eyeing up this typewriter print from the ruby star rising collection from melody miller. now i just need to figure out what i can make with it. any suggestions?

how’s your friday the thirteenth?

Photos are beautiful…The typewriter fabric is so cute…how about a pillow with the typewriter puffed out in trapunto? OR even a lampshade covered in it? I look forward to seeing what you do with it – but if you are like me, it will go in a stash of fabric until some brilliant idea strikes!

We bought some cuties the other day – I should have one. I love your quilt & can’t wait to see the whole thing. I wish we had snow. I made the SAME breakfast this morning so we could use up some leftover cream cheese frosting. (Mine were NOT as cute though!) I love the typewriter fabric, but I don’t know what to do with it.

We’ve been packing and making soup for dinner…We’re heading to Arizona as soon as the kids get home from school.

I can’t sew a button so I really appreciate your quilting skills! Did you know orange is good luck so those cuties do double duty! The typewriter fabric is fab – I need some of that. Your cinnamon buns make me fondly recall my trips to the mall for a Cinnabon!! Am now following along (grew up in PA and now a Jersey girl).

Hey Michael, You’re quilt turned out great!! I read your recent post on it and just kept scrolling down to read more posts. I had to comment on this one – I’m sooo happy to hear another person admit they hate waking up to snow!! I’m a Northern California girl that has lived in Calgary, AB (Canada) for 12 years now and I still HATE the cold and snow. Yes it can look pretty, but there’s always some sort of extra work that comes along with it, shoveling, brushing off the car, etc. I just have no use for it. lol Alright, my rant about snow is over. Thanks for baring with me. =)

Oh, your mini cinnamon rolls look delish ane are too cute! I might have to give them a try.

Amen to having a mild winter! It’s been in the 60s here in NC for weeks, and though we’ll dip into the 40s the next couple of days, the highs will be in the 60s again next week. I’m trying not to question any of this weird weather or think about the ramifications of global warming! :/

Glad you had a good Friday the 13th…I was on a plane and little nervous about flying but made it out alive!
