wow. i’m seriously loving all of your wonderful spring wreaths and decor. so inspired! really! if you haven’t had a chance to link up your ‘door decor’ there is still time. remember you have until tomorrow, friday, at 10am est. later in that day i will pick my favorite five at let you choose the winner.

and i think my plan is working. the rain is coming…temperatures are staying above 32 degrees… the snow is melting (even the big piles) … and i’ve been noticing other signs of spring.

i also was listening to this song this morning and was inspired to make a new printable. what do you think?

simple, cute, true.

here’s the image if you’d like to print your own. more printable here.

My kids would like your print. They sing that song (loudly and badly) all the time!

    Hi Michael!

I’m a new reader and just wanted to say hello. I wish I could participate in your wreath party, but unfortunately that’s the one area of my spring decorating that has me stumped at the moment. I have a grapevine wreath that I embellish seasonally as I’m trying to be a bit frugal and not have a bazillion off-season wreaths to store! I’ll have to go check out the entries for a bit of inspiration. 🙂 And I love your printable. I always turn up that song when it comes on the radio and sing it at the top of my lungs. My 4yo son doesn’t particularly appreciate me doing it, but it’s one of those songs that just begs to be belted out. Did you catch Lea Michele’s rendition of it on Glee a few weeks back? She did it even better than Katy, I have to say.

I’m really enjoying reading through your older posts when I get the chance. Your spirit shines through in your writing and it’s been a delight so far.

    Take care,
