Yes, I will be the first to admit that some of my recent posts really haven’t been geared toward happiness. Well, at least not as much as I would like them to be. Sorry about that. It’s been a crazy week around here and it’s about to get crazier. In a few short hours, I’m hopping on a plane to Detroit and then flying back on Monday. Crazy, right? It’s a fun trip, though! I’m excited and will share more about it next week. If you pay attention to Facebook and Twitter for the next few days, you may be able to figure out why I’m going.
Anyway, I’m making some progress on my quilt. I have all of the half-square triangles pieced together. Now I need to trim them all to size. Unfortunately, I’m really not looking forward to this process. It’s going to be rather tedious and time-consuming. It also needs to be done with care so that the points in the quilt will line up once I start putting the rows together. My mom volunteered to help, and I will probably take her up on the offer! Dinner followed by trimming squares and watching a movie? Sounds good to me!
Enjoy your Sunday, everyone!
This is the 14th post in my 31 Days of Happiness Series.
