Over the past week I’ve been putting together some design inspire boards for an upcoming (super exciting) opportunity I’m participating in.

Though the process is super time consuming, I’m actually having a blast sourcing products and seeing the design come to life! Since I can’t share the other four boards with you right now, I decided I’d whip up another one that I could share with you.

A while back I pinned this gorgeous tea towel with the comment ‘I want to design a room around this towel’.

Well, I did just that.

Check out my Tea Towel Inspired Bedroom…

Inspired By Charm

Pretty fabulous, right!? I actually have a room here at my little inn that I want to look exactly like this. Maybe I’ll have to bring it to life! Anyone want to sponsor this makeover!? I kid. I kid.

If you can believe it, this is actually my first Inspire Board that I’ve ever posted here. (And yes, Inspired by Charm’s Design Boards will be now and forever know as Inspire Boards.) I certainly hope you like it, because there is probably going to be more.

Below is the source list for all the items included on this board (sorry, they are in no particular order):

In other, and completely random news, I’m super excited because Brandi Carlile’s new album, Bear Creek came out today! I adore this woman. Her voice is brilliant and the new album does not disappoint. Though all the songs are pretty amazing, here are three of my early favorites:

She’s amazing, right?!

I’m in love with the concept but not the style so much but that’s just me….I’m more a Tasha Tudor type…give me a run down farm house or cottage and I’d be in heaven. I like all my things to be “old” like me. But I can remember 40 or so years ago that I had a lime green and white patterned Queen Anne chair and lime green walls with a yellow and white patterned Ethan Allan couch….yada yada….mod 60’s daisy wallpaper in my kitchen of the same colors….it’s all coming back so you see…I’ve “been there, done that”. LOL!
I will take color though any day over “beige” decorating. And it all has to be “comfy cozy”….that’s my style now and nothing matches.
I do like the design board concept and It will help me use what I have and determine what colors and style I want in which rooms. By the time you get to my age, there’s too many memories attached to things that you can’t bear to change them now. But you’re young and it’s so fun to pick out things and find your own style and you are such an inspiration to so many, me included!
