I can’t believe it’s actually the end of October. However, the fact that tomorrow is the first of November blows my mind and makes me slightly panicked about the upcoming holiday season.
Right now I’m just happy to say that I have successfully blogged for 31 days. Now, I know things got a little sketchy at the end, but I still managed to pull through! Today I thought it would be fun to highlight a few of my favorites from the past month.
High on my list of faves is this DIY Colorblock Tray.
I started my new office transformation, picked a color scheme. and did a lot of the painting.
This No-Sew Burlap Table Runner was a cinch to create.
I shared tips for styling the perfect fall centerpiece.
Nate Berkus got a little competition when I created this DIY version of his Multiple Taper Candleholder.
DIY Paint Dipped Brass candlesticks look modern with a touch of color.
And I even went to Portland and back.
While I didn’t accomplish everything I’d hoped to this month, I don’t think it turned out too shabbily! How about you? I’m going to take an extended weekend off. (Don’t miss me too much.), but I’ll be back Monday, ready to do more baking, creating, and decorating. Was there anything I missed this month that you’d like to see in November and December?
Oh, and let me know in the comments what your favorite moment was from this 31 Days of Home series. I’m so curious!
Have a fun, happy, and spooky Halloween! See you in November!

There were so many good things this month! I think my favorites were the office transformation, and the paint dipped brass candlesticks (which I must try). Also, we bought a Soda Stream just yesterday and I’m thinking about trying out that Spicy Grapefruit Margarita.
The soda stream is so much fun – I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. And you must give the brass candlesticks a try! I’m in love with them.
