Pizza Seasoned Pretzels:

Through my continued partnership with DIGIORNO Pizza, I’m highlighting their new Crispy Pan Pizza today and sharing my recipe for Pizza Seasoned Pretzels plus some ideas for hosting a TV viewing party.

Gathering with friends to enjoy a meal and your favorite TV event is a fun and tasty way to break up the workweek. However, the last thing you want to do is spend hours in the kitchen crafting a fancy feast at the end of a busy day.

My solution? A coffee table food centerpiece with DIGIORNO Crispy Pan Pizza as the star of the show. Not only is it delicious, but it will help you get the most out of your evening with friends and family.

So how does it work? Let’s start with your coffee table. Since you and your guests will likely pile onto the couch to watch TV, the coffee table makes the perfect space to lay out your spread.

I recommend setting out plates, cutlery, dishes, stands and a cutting board to start. You want to have room for all of the food, and it should look good, too. Next, add something decorative. I used seasonal flowers I had on hand, but a candle or something related to the show you’re watching would also work.

Now you’re ready for the food. I chose pizza since everyone seems to enjoy it. Specifically, I selected DIGIORNO Crispy Pan Pizza because it’s a baked-fresh-in-your-own- oven, pan-style pizza. It’s topped edge to edge with cheese and has a one-inch thick crust that is crispy and caramelized on the outside and light and airy on the inside. Delicious, hot pizza, baked up fresh at home. What’s not to love? I’m serving the Crispy Pan Supreme and Pepperoni varieties.

From there, I added a variety of veggie nibbles, including carrots, green beans, mini peppers, and celery. I also included a dip.

To finish off the food centerpiece, I whipped up my Pizza Seasoned Pretzels the night before. They are super tasty and a nice complement to the menu.

  1. I am not familiar with tomato garlic basil seasoning. What is the brand? Do you use fresh Parmesan cheese or Kraft cylinder kind? These look like a delicious snack. Thx

    1. I forget the brand. I want to say it was Mrs. Dash, but I’m not positive. Any sort of seasoning in that flavor range will do the trick. I used the Kraft parmesan cheese.

      xo Michael

  2. BTW, Michael: Didn’t you win your category in the 2017 Saveur Blog Awards? I never saw it mentioned here on the blog, but I may have missed it. Voted for you several times… Congrats! Well deserved recognition!

  3. I haven’t seen the crisp crust pan pizza yet, going to have to look for it! The last few months I always grab a Digiorno when I grocery shop on Friday’s because nobody likes cooking on grocery shopping day and it saves us from over spending on take out! Can’t wait to try this one.

  4. Your living room is so pretty – the perfect place for a party! Those pretzels look as delicious as Digiorno! After your last post we tried it and it’s now our staple pizza for lake weekends – love the crust!

  5. I am in LOVE with your table arrangement! Where did you get the awesome piece that is holding your veggies? (I didn’t see it on your shop page)

    Love your blog!
