Gathering with friends to enjoy a meal and your favorite TV event is a fun and tasty way to break up the workweek. However, the last thing you want to do is spend hours in the kitchen crafting a fancy feast at the end of a busy day.

My solution? A coffee table food centerpiece with DIGIORNO Crispy Pan Pizza as the star of the show. Not only is it delicious, but it will help you get the most out of your evening with friends and family.

So how does it work? Let’s start with your coffee table. Since you and your guests will likely pile onto the couch to watch TV, the coffee table makes the perfect space to lay out your spread.

I recommend setting out plates, cutlery, dishes, stands and a cutting board to start. You want to have room for all of the food, and it should look good, too. Next, add something decorative. I used seasonal flowers I had on hand, but a candle or something related to the show you’re watching would also work.

Now you’re ready for the food. I chose pizza since everyone seems to enjoy it. Specifically, I selected DIGIORNO Crispy Pan Pizza because it’s a baked-fresh-in-your-own- oven, pan-style pizza. It’s topped edge to edge with cheese and has a one-inch thick crust that is crispy and caramelized on the outside and light and airy on the inside. Delicious, hot pizza, baked up fresh at home. What’s not to love? I’m serving the Crispy Pan Supreme and Pepperoni varieties.

From there, I added a variety of veggie nibbles, including carrots, green beans, mini peppers, and celery. I also included a dip.

To finish off the food centerpiece, I whipped up my Pizza Seasoned Pretzels the night before. They are super tasty and a nice complement to the menu.

Here’s how I made them:

In a medium bowl, I whisked together butter, tomato paste, garlic powder, and tomato basil garlic seasoning blend.

Then, I put my pretzels in a large bowl and gently coated them with the seasoned butter. Next, I mixed in grated Parmesan cheese. Finally, I popped the pretzels into the oven for about 25 minutes.

Here's What You Will Need:
1 bag (16 ounces) mini pretzels
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon tomato basil garlic seasoning blend
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Begin by preheating your oven to 275 degrees F.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the butter, tomato paste, garlic powder, and tomato basil garlic seasoning blend.

In a large bowl, add the pretzels; then drizzle them with the prepared seasoned butter. Stir gently to evenly coat. Next, mix in the parmesan cheese with the pretzels until it's well distributed.

Spread the pretzels out in an even layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring once or twice during baking. Remove the pretzels from the oven and allow them to cool before eating. Store the pretzels in an airtight container for up to three weeks.

Just in case you need them, here are a few more TV party hosting tips:

– Create a signature cocktail inspired by your favorite show or a character from the show.
– Invent a hashtag you and your friends can use to share the fun on social media.
– Add extra pillows and blankets to your TV viewing space and encourage your guests to get comfortable.
– Invite your guests to dress as their favorite character from the show.
– Opt for paper plates and paper napkins to minimize clean-up.

I haven’t seen the crisp crust pan pizza yet, going to have to look for it! The last few months I always grab a Digiorno when I grocery shop on Friday’s because nobody likes cooking on grocery shopping day and it saves us from over spending on take out! Can’t wait to try this one.
