I love a delicious dessert cocktail. A few weeks ago when I was at an event, we mixed up some Pumpkin Milkshakes. They were the bomb.com and gave me an idea for a cocktail recipe.

My thought: Why not combine a pumpkin milkshake and a pumpkin pie martini to create a Frozen Pumpkin Pie Martini? And so I did.

With Thanksgiving only a couple weeks away, this recipe couldn’t come at a better time. Not only is it a cold and sweet libation, but it is also a joy to share and enjoy during quiet moments with loved ones.

This year, I’ve teamed up with Reddi-wip to share recipes and Share The Joy. For me, creating cocktails and entertaining friends and family are such joyful experiences, and I’m delighted when I can pass on that joy to others. When you feel joy and share that feeling with someone else, the world becomes an even more beautiful place.

Sipping one of these Frozen Pumpkin Pie Martinis helps with the joy, too. So whip up a batch, invite your friends over, and celebrate the bounty of the harvest season. Joy is intensified when it is shared with others.

You may be wondering what makes this cocktail so exceptional. Well, first, it’s garnished with graham cracker crumbs. That little crunch resembles the crust of the pumpkin pie.

Secondly, there’s ice cream in this cocktail. That’s the frozen part of this concoction. It also adds a delightfully creamy texture to the drink.

Pumpkin puree and spices give this martini a traditional pumpkin pie flavor.

Finally, this cocktail is topped up with a generous squeeze of Reddi-wip and sprinkled with cinnamon for a perfect finishing touch.

Frozen Pumpkin Pie Martini

Makes 2 cocktails

1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 cup vanilla vodka
1/4 cup white chocolate liqueur
1/4 cup half & half
Honey and graham cracker crumbs for glass rim
Reddi-wip and cinnamon for garnish

Begin with two shallow dishes in place. To one, add a tablespoon of honey. To the other, add the graham cracker crumbs. Rim the edge of each martini glass first with honey and then in the graham cracker crumbs. Set aside.

In a blender, add the ice cream, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, vodka, chocolate liqueur, and half & half. Blend to combine. Pour into your prepared martini glasses.

Top with Reddi--wip and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
