Bathroom Bling | inspiredbycharm.com

Well friends, after a couple days of work, my bathroom is looking like a completely different place. (Okay, not completely different, but much more attractive.)

As I mentioned when I shared the before pictures of this space, I’m working with Symmons to give my little bathroom a much needed makeover. Symmons (based right here in the United States) is a premier manufacturer of residential plumbing products. They’ve designed their stylish, quality products to stand the test of time. They also pride themselves on their customer-first culture.

Before we get to the “afters,” let’s take another quick look at the “before.”

Okay, ready? Now after …

Pretty fabulous, right? It’s amazing what beautiful new hardware and a coat of paint can do!

Today I wanted to talk about my new bathroom bling (that beautiful faucet). Then next week, after I get the chance to start pulling in some accessories, I’ll talk about my paint colors and all that good stuff.

I chose the Carrington two handle widespread faucet. What I really love about the Carrington line is that it has a historical look. I felt that was important and appropriate for the style of my house.

When it comes to bathroom fixtures, I think they can make or break a space. While this small bathroom doesn’t have much to offer, it really stands out now, thanks to this new faucet. It looks rich. Not only is the style on fleek, but it feels sturdy and is well made. I don’t think I’ll be needing to replace this anytime soon. Whether remodeling or refreshing your bathroom, I highly recommend a quality faucet. It makes a huge difference.

This fixture was also a breeze to install. I had never replaced a bathroom fixture before, and I was able to handle this without much difficulty. I was pretty proud of myself.

To keep things cohesive in the space, I also went with the toilet paper holder from the Carrington collection. I’ve never in my life had such a fancy toilet paper holder. Changing the paper will be a breeze, and it functions very well, too. No more weird springy thing to fuss with.

I also upgraded my towel ring and towel bar.

I decided to move the towel bar to the opposite wall near the shower. First, I prefer not to hang towels near toilets. Secondly, I think that the wall will feel less busy.

Because the bathroom is so small, photographing this side of the room is a bit challenging, but hopefully you get the idea.

How’s that for some overdue bathroom bling?

I’m super excited to see this space coming together. Next week I’ll be back with a new light fixture and mirror for above the vanity, plus much needed accessories.

What do you think of the progress to date?

This post was created as part of my collaboration with Symmons. I was compensated for my time. The opinions, thoughts and ideas are mine.

Loving the sink. It’s just what I need for my vanity. Would you mind giving me the source?

I know you mentioned that you are not doing the floor right now, but I think a subway tile would look really nice in this bathroom and would bring the authenticity to your home. I’ve been an admirer of yours for awhile now. Keep up the beautiful designs!

It does look more attractive, in my opinion. The minimalistic look is better, less places for excessive clutter, a mirror would be a nice addition though.
