Happy Saturday, friends! Normally I don’t post on the weekend, however I’ve decided to start a new series here on Inspired by Charm. In case you didn’t know, in addition to my work on IBC, I write for a few other brands and blogs. I want to make you aware of those posts in a timely manner. Since I haven’t figured out how to successfully incorporate them into my regular IBC posts, I’ve decided to just pop in here on Saturdays and share links to some of things I worked on throughout the week. How does that sound?
If you’re totally not interested, obviously you can ignore these Saturday posts. No hard feelings. But I did want to make them available for anyone who might be interested. Cool? Cool.
First up, I was recently appointed by About.com to be their Entertaining Expert. This is completely humbling and totally awesome. It’s basically my own website as I’ll be the only one posting there. I’ll be adding new posts every week.
Last week, I created two round-up posts. With the end of summer approaching, I put together a list of 10 summertime sangria recipes for any end-of-the-season parties you may be planning. There are some pretty tasty recipes in that post.
I’m also a huge fan of candlelight when entertaining, so my second post featured 12 DIY candle holders. Lots of great crafty ideas from some of my favorite bloggers. Your next party is sure to have an extra special glow.
Over on BHG’s Style Spotters blog is the latest installment in my For the Love of Color series. This week was all about mint green. I linked up to lots of lovely accessories (Isn’t the sumo wrestler the best?) to add a touch of mint to your space. You can check them all out here.
On BHG’s Delish Dish, I blogged about these Berry Breakfast Pizzas I made using berries left over from my Mini-Cup Pies. The pizzas are very easy to put together and they definitely satisfy those of us who have a sweet tooth in the mornings. You can get the full recipe right here.
I’ve been working with the folks at Red Envelope for almost a year now. This week I shared a refreshing recipe for Cherry Beer Margaritas. They are so simple to make and combine some of my favorite flavors.
Last but not least, over on the MyColortopia Blog, I’m talking a little about my dining room transformation and how I went from a bold yellow to a chic gray.
That should catch you up for this week. I hope you enjoy these bonus posts. Let me know in the comments what you think about this new series on IBC.
Have an amazing weekend!
