I was coming up completely empty on what to blog about today. Blogger block perhaps? Thankfully, I stumbled upon this fabulous list from Erin of BlueBirdBaby and thought it would be the perfect thing for today. We all need a little time to reflect, right? I then remembered a few weeks ago I started a series called 30 lists of 30. So, this couldn’t be more perfect. (Even if I had to add two more items to the original list.)

If you would like to join in as well, leave a link to your list in the comments.

making : lists in hopes of getting organized to get stuff done.
cooking : dozens and dozens of cookies. More on that tomorrow.
drinking : chai tea. Specifically this kind. I blame it on the fall.
reading : Daring Greatly by Brene Brown.
wanting : to find a go-to pair of shoes for the fall. Maybe these?
looking : for ideas for fall crafts.
wishing : I lived closer to a craft store. The nearest Michaels is 1.5 hours away. Save me!
playing : Katy Perry – “Roar” on repeat. I know. I’m still obsessed.
wasting : time and energy worrying.
enjoying : all the new fall and holiday magazines. I can’t get enough.
waiting : patiently to finally visit Portland, Oregon this October.
liking : my breakfast oatmeal swirled with a spoonful of almond butter.
wondering : why terrible things happen to awesome people.
loving : Joy Cho’s new studio space. Have you seen it’s awesomeness?
hoping : to start turning my old gift shoppe into my office ASAP.
listening: to new albums from Sheryl Crow and Keith Urban.
marveling : at this beautiful and fun marriage proposal.
needing : to taste this giant layered cookie cake.
sowing : a plan to shed a few pounds. (Um, right after I taste that cookie cake).
smelling : cinnamon. Especially after baking these pumpkin cinnamon rolls and mixing up this sangria.
wearing : gingham and jeans.
following : Emily Henderson. Forever and always.
noticing : pumpkins. Everywhere. And I love it.
knowing : that life is short. Give it all you’ve got and love as hard as you can.
thinking : about hosting a Halloween Party this year.
bookmarking : this recipe for Chicken Stew with Sweet Potato Biscuits.
opening : boxes from Zara. A couple new pieces for the season.
giggling : about this cat sweater. The sad part is I kind of liked it. Kind of.
watching : Orange is the New Black. I think I watched the first season in two weeks. I’m obsessed.
feeling : uper excited for next week. A little travel and lots of yumminess on the blog.

Michael, I just LOVE this! It was such a fun read…I found myself thinking “oh, me too” an awful lot! I’m feeling inspired to do this on my own blog. The hardest part of blogging for me has been opening myself up to my readers…this is such a great way to get to know people. Thanks so much! Love your site by the way! 🙂

Oh, I’d love to see your list. Be sure to share the link if you do decide to join along. And yes – I totally agree. This type of guided list helps you think / talk about things you normally wouldn’t.

      Thanks for all your kindness.

      xo Michael
