The excitement around here just doesn’t seem to stop! Yesterday I was able to announce the first of The Big Three and today I’m back with announcement number two. I’m not sure I can handle all of this. Can you?
About a month ago I was contacted by the amazing folks behind the website and blog, Pure Home, to act as a Tastemaker for their online shop. After I fell off my chair and eventually managed to regain my composure, of course I said YES! I’ve been a huge fan of Pure Home since they launched their site. To be a curator for them is such an awesome opportunity.
I’ve always been a bit jealous of all those bloggers and designers who have their curated collections floating around the net. I never thought that one day I would be among them. It still doesn’t seem real.
I literally spent an entire weekend combing through the Pure Home shop to come up with a collection that truly reflects Inspired by Charm and my personal style. I’m not going to lie. It was tough. Though, after hours of shopping, I am beyond pleased with the collection I’ve curated.
It has touches of rustic and modern. There are lots of neutrals with pops of bold, saturated color. Plus there is some whimsy and fun! I mean, how many curated collections have you seen with dinner plates that display women playing tug-of-war in heels? I love it! This collection was inspired by my need for a well-designed home that is also comfortable and livable.
You can check out my entire collection on the Pure Home site or you can follow along on Pinterest via my board, “I am a Pure Home Tastemaker.” I will be pinning the entire collection over the course of this week. Pure Home is also graciously offering a 15% discount code to Inspire by Charm readers! How amazing is that!? Just enter CHARM15 at check out. This code is valid through September 30th, 2012.
In addition to all of that, there is a Q&A with me on their blog. Be sure to check it out. I talk a little about my current favorite color combinations, favorite designers, what design trends I’m loving, the style of my own home, and lots more. It was exciting to have another venue for sharing my ideas.
I am immensely grateful to Pure Home for the honor of being their first Tastemaker. This opportunity is a dream come true. I had to pinch myself when I saw my name, my face, and my collection on their site. As a boy from a small town in Pennsylvania, I dreamed of a moment like this, but never thought it would actually happen. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
