One. I finally bought some washi tape! And I got quite the loot! I bought this selection from Cute Tape. Now I have no idea what to do with it. I’m going to play around with it a bit this week and post a couple ideas of my own on friday with some other inspiration pictures. I’ll then open up a Linkup Party for you to post any fun uses or ideas for washi tape. Sound good??

Two.  I got lots of happy mail this week including a package of prints I ordered from one of my very favorite artists – Rachel of Funnelcloud Studios. She was having a little sale last week. I think this may mean some new prints are making their way to her shop! So excited!!

Three. After some terrible storms late last week the sun came back this Sunday. While on a drive I saw this massive house on a hill. Picture perfect! Even though this house was huge, I’m amazed at how small it looks set in it’s picturesque landscape.

Four. A dear high school friend of mine got married this weekend. She stayed at my little inn along with her wedding party. She was gorgeous and so were her flowers.

Five. There is a beautiful overlook in the Allegheny National forest called Rim Rock. You would not believe the size of these rocks. So fun! We used to climb them as kids. It was so great to return as an adult.

Six. I’m planning a new quilt, even though I have still have two others unfinished. This is my inspiration. I ordered the Kona cotton solids guide in hopes that it would help my choose colors. I think it backfired. I’m officially overwhelmed.

Seven. I drove up with my family and friends on Sunday to Peek’n Peak, a ski resort in New York, to ride a segway for the first time. So fun! We did the adventure tour which took us through the woods. I could have rode all day!

Eight. To wrap up my weekend I did a little blueberry picking. As an innkeeper you can never have enough blueberries!

What fun and exciting things did you do this weekend??

Here in the UK we got drinks and snacks together and settled in front of the tv to watch our totally mindblowing Olympics Opening Ceremony created by the multi-talented Danny Boyle. Wow, it encompassed every wonderful thing about Great Britain! That man deserves a knighthood for his incredible show. The majority of the participants were volunteers who did an amazing job. Over Saturday and Sunday we became couch potatoes soaking up the superb BBC olympics coverage – best weekend in a long time!!
