(I can read and write in English, but as Spanish is my native language it goes ahead :))
    Un gran abrazo desde Chile.

This looks amazing. I also classify the strawberrry/rhubarb flavour combination as one of pure comfort. Thanks for the inspiration….now to make this and have one of those yummy International coffees!

This looks so yummy…will have to try it as my first rhubarb recipe. I actually use the International delight in hot cocoa which is really delicious!

    Michael,
Posted this first on the posting below but still:
Pinned your strawberry rhubarb recipe to Pinterest. I seem to always be posting you. Fab stuff.
My favorite coffee memory was jolted by this recipe becuase my mom always loved rhubarb. When she was in the hospital about two months before she passed away, having broken her hip for the second time, I went to visit. Dad was also in the hospital at the same time dieing of pnemonia as he had been mom’s caregiver (she had advanced stage Alzheimers and he had just worn himself out). Let me tell you, they were the REAL notebook couple. Well, I was shuffling between room with my two year old in tow. Mom and always loved coffee and I desperately needed a pick up so I went down to the cafeteria for a decent cup for us both (you know that stuff they give you on your hospital tray does in NO WAY resemble coffee!!) I also picked up a chocolate danish for mom (her other love) and a cookie for my son. Back at the room she smiled her old smile and joked as we ate and drank. She almost seemed to come back into herself for that small sliver of time and I had a memory of having both my mother and my son together, if just for a moment, and something to hold onto during that really difficult time.
