If you follow me on Facebook or Pinterest you may notice that I enjoy a good picture/quote combination. Something like this…

thingswelove.jpg

For some silly reason they speak to me. They inspired me. Some even give me goosebumps! You also may have noticed that I’ve been making some of my own and sharing them on my various social media outlets.

I now have a good collection of them, so I thought I would post all the ones i’ve created here. All the photography is mine (expect for the one of Adele at the bottom, which is from Vogue).

I hope they encourage you, inspire you, make you think, or give goosebumps. Feel free to share them, pin them, post them, tweet them or print them.

If you have a favorite, let me know in the comments. Also, feel free to leave YOUR favorite quote and maybe I’ll turn it into an image!

Hi MIchael, I am one of your new followers and I am loving your blog! My favorite quote is “Home is where your story begins”. As my children were leaving home to go to college, this quote became very close to my soul. It is always a good reminder for them!

Hi Michael, good stuff you’ve got going on here! My all time favorite quote or words to live by really is:

be joyful always. pray continually. give thanks in all circumstances.

I love them all – and I LOOOOOOVE the photos!

I found this quote a while back and would love to put it on a sign someday –
“If you obey all the rules,
You miss all the fun.” ~Katharine Hepburn

I love the ‘both happy and sad’ quote…I feel that way so very often. Beautiful photography as well Michael. Another of my favorite quotes is from the song Awake Your Soul by Mumford and Sons…”..where you invest your love, you invest your life.” Have a wonderful day Michael, and I look forward to more of your favorite quotes, and photos. 🙂

    Hi Michael,

What a great post, it has inspired me in so many ways. I absolutely love the quote “there are far, far better things ahead than we leave behind”. It definitely hits home for me. I am a new follower of your blog and I can honestly say it has inspired me to follow my dreams and create the life I want to live. Thank you!

It’s hard to find well-informed people on this topic, however, you sound like you know what you’re talking about!

Hey there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with? I’m
planning to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique.
P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
