I have wanted to see the Grand Canyon ever since I was little kid, watching Ward Bond on TV. I was once even close enough to see a sign that said “Grand Canyon 60 miles” with an arrow pointing that-a-way, but time constraints would not allow me to make that detour. Now that’s been nearly thirty years ago and I still regret having to pass that sign by!
