wow. first, thank you everyone that came out and participated in my first link party. even if you were unable to enter something i appreciate those of you that spread the word or stopped by for some inspiration.

if you haven’t had a chance to view all the lovely submissions, take a minute to check them out. you’ll totally be inspired! i was.

and a ginormous thanks to all those that entered. each entry was truly unique and special in it’s own way. you have so much to be proud of! you are all winners in you own right. congrats.

although it was super challenging, i was able to pick some finalists. i mentioned there would be five, but i end up choosing six. it’s my party and i’ll cry if i want to choose at many finalists as i want to.

so, in no particular order here are my five six favorites:

(1) spring wreath

loving the moss wreaths everyone submitted! this one stood out with it’s little rolled fabric flowers and hand painted twigs. it’s simple, and special. modern and warm.

award: best use of materials

submitted by: homemade ginger

(2) flower bouquet wreath

wow. talk about a detailed wreath! this is a stunner. all the materials used make this work so well together. it takes true talent to put all those elements together and make it look stunning. and i just love the pearl details.

award: most detailed

submitted by: tea rose home

(3) quick and colorful wreath

this wreath was one of the first to catch my eye. i’m totally digging yellow these days and all the other colors work so perfect with it. and the polka dot hanger…adore! so soft and beautiful. just love it.

award: best in show

submitted by: kiki creates

(4) moss wreath

another beautiful moss inspired wreath. natural and beautiful. i love the little nest with the eggs. and the other creatures fluttering around make this really special. uniform and beautiful.

award: best ‘themed’ wreath

submitted by: a diamond in the stuff

(5) pinwheel wreath

northern cottage went above and beyond and created three wreaths. this was my personal favorite of the three. it certainly takes a creative mind to come up with something like this! a total win and super duper cute.

award: most creative

submitted by: northern cottage

(6) flower basket wreath

i was hoping someone would submit a door decoration that wasn’t a wreath and luckily someone did! it’s a basket full of some of the happiest flowers i’ve seen. this ‘wreath’ is super welcoming and super cheery. and i love the house number detail on the door.
award: most welcoming
