One of the many things I love about the fall are the cool mornings. There aren’t many things better than getting cozy on the couch with my favorite magazines and a big cup of coffee. I could get lost for hours soaking up all the inspiration. I’ve been so impressed with magazines lately. Given the rise of online publications and blogs, it seems that everyone in the print industry is stepping up their game and trying to produce the absolute best content they can. And, I’m loving every second of it.

Fall Favorites | Inspired by Charm

Today I just wanted to share a few of things I’m totally in love with for fall. I have a few of these things myself and hoping to add the rest to my collection soon enough.

Fall Favorites | Inspired by Charm

ONE – Fangirling with both the pattern and the colors. Plus, you all are probably getting sick of seeing my polka dot napkins. TWO – Nate’s collection at Target always has gem or two. These faux marble trays are amazing. Also, I may have developed a little obsession with trays. THREE – Again from Target, this bar cart rocks my world. There is just so much potential with this piece. FOUR– I actually have this bag from Zara and it’s pretty much one of my favorite things ever. I like it so much that I almost want to buy a backup. (Please tell me I’m not the only one that buys backups of things I really love.) FIVE – If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I just got these candlesticks in the mail. They are seriously so cool and the price is perfection. They will come in handy this holiday season. SIX – I’m living for this glass iPhone speaker from Red Envelope. Not only is it a work of art, it actually works. Take that bluetooth! SEVEN – Domino Magazine is returning next week as a quarterly publication, which apparently I should be pretty excited about. I actually never subscribed to Domino (please don’t hurt me), so I’m pretty excited to see what all the fuss is about. EIGHT – I just downloaded this album yesterday and have been listening to it non-stop. Soft, happy/sad, and a little bit folky. It’s seriously fantastic.

Okay, I’m heading back to my coffee and stack of magazines. Have a great weekend friends. What are some of your fall favorites? Let me know in the comments!

I loove that bag, Michael! I am a bit of a tote bag/container/basket FREAK. You are not alone in buying back-ups for things you love! One of my fall favorites is the stack of cedar tree slices that I had my dad cut when he cut down a small cedar tree on our property. I use them to decorate for fall – so pretty!

Thanks! Yes – huge fan of that bag. I’ve become a bit of a tote-bag junkie these days. Love the tree slices too! I’ve been trying to get my hands on some!

Domino is awesome-so glad it’s back! Go look at their online feature on Nate Berkus and an apt he just designed-it’s perfection. Love his new accessories coming to Tar-jay, as well.

That iPhone speaker is funny-it looks like an alphorn! If you put your phone in a big enough glass, it works to amplify the sound too-glass is great for that. I have an on-the-rocks glass that I put mine in when I have a marathon call from my BFF in Austin.

Fall is different for us this year-we are in OR, but have sold our house and are moving to San Diego CA! Snow and cold temps will be replaced by 70s and the sweet, salty air-I’m going to do pumpkins like these for Halloween: http://www.coastalliving.com/homes/decorating/pumpkin-carving-00414000076436/

Thanks for the heads up on the Nate feature! That’s fab. He used a lot of his own collection, which I’m loving too!

I love the fall temps, but come winter I’ll be wish I could trade places with you. Enjoy your new home!

This reminds me, I need more magazines. One of my girls saw that bar cart at Target the other day and LOVED it! Another of my girls, I think, would LOVE that music. I just listened to what I could on Amazon and think I might love it too.

Thanks for sharing your fall faves!

I’m so glad you (and your girls) found a few things you liked! Happy Fall!!

Michael, I love the polka dot burlap runner. And I would have chosen the gold as well. What a great tip about pulling the thread. I rarely sew anything without a stripe or check because I can’t sew evenly at all!

Get out of town!? I’m sure they will be back. Give it some time. My fingers are crossed for you!
